South Pacific Surgery Centers are managed by Simin Hashemizadeh, a successful business woman and a philantropist.
Simin is a generous person providing charitable support to various organizations. She hosted a fundraising dinner for Larry King and the Larry King Cardiac Foundation to support King’s ongoing mission to provide funding for life-saving heart surgery for individuals who cannot afford it. Simin supported the Red Eye, Inc., an affiliate of the Dream Center Downtown in an event hosted by music legend Smokey Robinson to help keep L.A. teenagers keep off drugs and have productive lives. Simin made a generous charitable contribution to Red Cross of Santa Monica. Simin held several fund raising events to support the Mbenga Foundation to raise money for children of Congo. She visited and presented toys to the children hospitalized at the Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles. Her contributions to humanity have been recognized by numerous celebrities. She was awarded an honorary Doctorate Degree from Dubna University, internationally known for its focus on higher education in humanities and natural sciences.
